fine art
The art work of Betz Green reflects her rural Pennsylvania background. She portrays farm life in a whimsical, narrative style, often involving humorous story lines. Chosen subjects are rendered in selective detail with particular attention paid to personal characteristics and individuality.
After attending Tyler School of Art she co-founded the Montgomery County Guild of Professional Artists and was the original artist-in-residence for the Montgomery County Town and Country Living magazine. The art of Betz Green has been featured in regional galleries, magazines and newspapers. Her art can also be found in museum and university shows as well as numerous private collections.
Betz Green resides just outside Philadelphia with her artist husband, Jim, a flock of chickens and too many gardens.
